I have heard no mandolin that compares with a DeGennaro...yes, that includes the famous Gibson F Model too. It actually makes the F Model sound like a box (we've compared them).

Aged old stock Honduras mahagony back, sides and neck. The back is carved.
The top is aged Sitka Spruce with a slight angle.
The headstock is figured Cherry (rare piece) and has an abalone truss rod cover.
The fretboard is ebony.
The nut is bone.
Mother of Pearl dots.
The bridge is Rosewood with a bone saddle.
The tuners are high-quality gold tone Schallers.
Comes with a very high-quality hardshell case!
